Recently, I have been editing the Wood Man anniversary art collabs, and I have encountered some weird things:
On Emm Bee Sea's contributions page I added their art in the Wood Man collabs, but they undid my edits, saying that they didn't consider the art part of their contributions. I disagree, because this is not how every other contribution list works, as far as I'm aware.
This is what I mean by "ownership of content"; on Wikipedia, the subject of an article has no right to dictate what the article says, and I think it should be the same for this wiki as well.
(Now, for the more controversial thing I want to say)
The page for Jeshire and its category page have been deleted by the head moderator because the "Contributor requested their page to be deleted." Now, I know that the Content policy states that this is allowed, but I still don't think it's right. Contributors shouldn't be able to say if their page gets deleted because they don't own it, especially if they don't have a good reason to! I think everyone can agree that purposefully hiding information isn't a good way to run a wiki.
I hope you agree with what I have to say, but if you don't, I'd like to hear your reasoning in the replies. I won't try to edit either of the articles mentioned if everybody thinks I'm wrong. Also, I can't find any instance of people discussing ownership rules on this wiki, so I don't have anything to go off of. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
